Dispensing Systems & Tinting Machines
Location: Australia & New Zealand (Field-Based, with travel)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Service Technician to support the installation, maintenance, and repair of automated dispensing systems and tinting machines across Australia and New Zealand. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, a customer-focused mindset, and a willingness to travel extensively.

- Install and commission tinting machines and paint dispensing systems at customer sites.
- Provide preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and on-site repairs to ensure operational uptime.
- Train customers and operators in the proper use and maintenance of equipment.
- Troubleshoot issues involving mechanical components, electrical circuits, PLC systems, and software controls.
- Maintain accurate service reports, documentation, and parts inventory.
- Coordinate with technical support teams and escalate complex issues when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company protocols during all service activities.
- Travel regularly throughout Australia and New Zealand to customer locations (up to 80%).
Qualifications:
- Trade Certificate, Diploma, or relevant training in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
- Minimum 2 years of experience with industrial machinery, preferably in tinting, mixing, or paint dispensing systems.
- Strong skills in diagnostics and repair (electrical, pneumatic, mechanical).
- Familiarity with PLC systems, industrial control panels, and software integration is a plus.
- Basic IT proficiency (Windows-based systems, remote diagnostic tools, reporting systems).
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively.
Desirable:
- Experience with brands such as Corob, Fast & Fluid, Hero, or Santint.
- Understanding of the paint and coatings industry.
- Ability to work independently and manage field schedules.
